  • Auditions: Sunday 28th March from 8.00am
  • Semi Finals and Audtions for Multiple Concertos: Saturday 24th April from 4.00pm
  • Finals Concert: Saturday 26th June, 8.00pm

Prize winners of the 2007 NSW Secondary Schools Concerto Competition

Outstanding Performer:
Violinist LILLIAN SO of Pymble, a student at James Ruse Agricultural High School. Outstanding Performer Prize is $5,000, donated by Bayer Australia, plus a trophy donated by Ku-ring-gai Council, plus an engagement to perform with the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra in their 2008 Symphony Series.

Senior Section Winner:
Pianist ESTHER KIM of Pennant Hills, a student at Ravenswood School for Girls. Prize is $1,000 donated by The Friends of the KPO, plus a trophy donated by Ku-ring-gai Council.

Junior Section Winner:
Pianist REMONA ZHENG of Enfeld, a student at the Conservatorium High School. Junior Section Prize is $1,000 donated by The Grange over-55s village, plus a trophy donated by Ku-ring-gai Council.

Multiple Concerto Winners:
Violinist RAPHAEL SHAMAVONIAN of St Ives, a student at Sydney Grammar School, and violist ALINA ZAMFIR of Westleigh, a student at Barker College. Prize is $1,000 donated by Ku-ring-gai Council.

KPO Players Award:
Violinist LILLIAN SO of Pymble, a student at James Ruse Agricultural High School. Prize is $200 donated by the Northside Youth Orchestra Bursary and is presented to the best performer during all rehearsals with the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra before the finals concert.
